In September 2026, the Comm-O-Ka Research Support Division launches its new Chair of Excellence program (“Comm-O-Ka–CoE” or “COKCE” – コッケ).
In 2026-28, “COCKCE” aims at supporting young international students wishing to register at Okayama University and specialize in Research:
** MASTER Degree: students are requested to come for at least 6 months
** Doctoral Course Training(Minimum level: Full Master graduation ).
Although all fields of knowledge will become eligible over time depending on available funding, in the initial phases of COKCE, the program is limited to the natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, materials sciences and engineering across all previously mentioned disciplines and their interactions).
Upon selective international screening process, COKCE provides financial support for 3 years (36 months) to applicants registered as Ph-D students at Okayama University.
