The Comm-O-Ka team is happy to announce that a brand new video-game based of the Tale of Momotaro is in development!
Created by two French students, this action-adventure game will immerse the player in Japan of the Edo era, and will introduce them to the wonders of an old Okayama where humans coexist with spirits and monsters.
Embark on an epic adventure inspired by the timeless Japanese folktale of Momotaro, the Peach Boy. In “Momo”, players step into the shoes of the legendary hero Momotaro himself, as he sets out on a quest to vanquish the demons of Onigashima and save Japan from their tyranny.
As Momotaro, you’ll journey through lush landscapes, from serene villages to treacherous mountains, gathering allies and facing off against fearsome demons along the way. With your loyal companions – the faithful dog, brave monkey, and wise pheasant – by your side, you’ll navigate through challenging puzzles, engage in strategic battles, and uncover the secrets of Onigashima.
But beware, for the demons are not easily defeated. Each demon lord possesses unique powers and minions, testing your courage and determination at every turn. Only by mastering your skills, harnessing the strength of your allies, and uncovering the ancient legends of Japan can you hope to triumph over evil and restore peace to the land.
