A Transcontinental Journey: Adam Taha’s Internship Adventure at Comm-O-Ka
In a remarkable fusion of cultures and expertise, Comm-O-Ka welcomed a budding talent from the Sorbonne University, Adam Taha, for a transformative three-month internship. Armed with a passion for web design and a thirst for cross-cultural experiences, Adam embarked on a journey from Paris to Okayama, Japan, with the singular goal of building Comm-O-Ka’s brand new website from scratch.
As a student of Web Design, Adam saw this internship as a golden opportunity to apply his skills in a real-world setting and leave a tangible impact on a global communication company. Little did he know that this adventure would go beyond just creating a website; it would immerse him in the essence of Japanese culture and language, elevating his professional journey to unprecedented heights.
“Working at Comm-O-Ka was a wonderful experience! I met inspiring people, discovered Okayama’s rich history, and had the chance to practice my web design skills in a culturally immersive environment. Truly unforgettable!“
In addition to honing his web design skills, Adam seized the opportunity to immerse himself in the Japanese language and culture. Daily interactions with his colleagues and local residents allowed him to break language barriers, discover traditional customs, and appreciate the nuances of daily life in Okayama. Through these exchanges, Adam forged meaningful connections and experienced firsthand the magic of cross-cultural communication.
